Description
Overview
These header strips have a 0.1″ (2.54 mm) pitch and are commonly used as low-cost connectors. The standard spacing allows use with solderless breadboards, prototyping PCBs, female headers, and our premium and pre-crimped jumper wires. The single-row header strips are available in a variety of lengths, and these are also easy to snap into smaller strips to fit specific application requirements. The double- and triple-row strips, which are only available in 40-pin lengths, can also be broken into smaller strips, but it takes a little more effort, and it is sometimes easier to use wire/diagonal cutters.

Both sides of this strip are long, allowing for unique connections that cannot be made with standard male header strips. For example, this header can be used as a female-to-male adaptor, and both sides are compatible with wire wrap. This version is only available as an individual, 1×40 strip that can be cut or broken into smaller strips.
