Shipping costs and approximate delivery times

We calculate the cost of shipping based on the weight and size of the goods during the check out process and let you pick the delivery method and price that best suits.

Shipping In Australia

We normally ship the same business day when your order is placed around 5pm EST. Goods are usually sent via Australia Post using the eParcel service which features tracking and signed delivery.

Larger parcels can be sent via normal express post if you choose which can be cheaper sometimes.

International Shipping to New Zealand

We currently export to New Zealand.

We normally ship international orders within one day. All goods are sent via Australia Post and its partner postal services around the world. There are so many different charges for international post that we can't show them here. The actual cost will be calcuated when you checkout.

There are two services available:

Important Notes for International Shipping
  • Customs Fees: All duties, fees and taxes associated with customs clearance or importation of your package are your responsibility. Please check with your customs office to determine what they will charge.
  • Delivery Time: The time taken for your package to be delivered is not guaranteed. Sometimes packages can be delayed by customs in some countries for up to 6 weeks or more.
  • Uninsured Items: By choosing an uninsured shipping option  you agree that if the package is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit, you will not hold Robot Gear responsible for the loss. We will not re-ship the item for free, we will not provide a refund, and we will not provide a credit. We will do our best to assist you locate the package.
  • Insured Items: If your package is insured and is lost or damaged we will do our best to get the claim processed asap. Sometimes this can take a few months to resolve. We will pay a refund if and when the insurance claim is successful.

LiPo batteries and other dangerous goods

Some items like LiPo batteries can not be carried by aircraft and will be sent via road freight only.

Australia Post Parcel Lockers

We use Australia Post for all parcels so you can use an Australia Post Parcel Locker.

Packaging

All items are packaged for survival on their out-doors adventure. We use anti-static bags, bubble wrap, water proof bags, boxes and sticky tape to make sure your goods aren't zapped, smashed, soaked, squashed or separated!
