GNSS Multi-Band L1/L2/L5 Surveying Antenna - TNC (SPK6618H)

The SPK6618H is an NGS-certified, multi-band (L1/L2/L5/E6) surveying antenna with a TNC connector, delivering high-precision accuracy for RTK base stations.

Description

This is the SPK6618H, a high-performance, 'UFO-style' surveying antenna that delivers professional, multi-band reception for a fraction of the cost of leading brand options. It is designed for surveyors, GIS professionals, and anyone building a high-precision RTK base station.

This antenna's built-in 130mm ground plane, advanced filtering, and amplification provide exceptional signal quality for all GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations. It is the perfect antenna to unlock the full, centimetre-level potential of your multi-band GNSS receiver.

Unlock Pro-Level Precision

  • NGS Certified: This antenna is officially certified by the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) (ID: SFESPK6618H). It's a professional-grade tool you can trust for serious surveying and data collection. (ANTEX and ANTINFO files are available).
  • Full Multi-Band Reception (L1/L2/L5/E6): By receiving all modern signals, this antenna provides a faster, more stable, and more accurate fix, even in challenging environments. It's the key to unlocking the full potential of your multi-band receiver (such as the ZED-F9P or Mosaic-X5).
  • Access "Near-RTK" Accuracy (PPP): This antenna's E6 band reception unlocks access to Precise Point Positioning (PPP) services like Galileo HAS and QZSS MADOCA. This can provide centimetre-level accuracy without needing a local base station, a game-changer for field applications.

Is This Antenna for You?

This antenna is specifically designed for high-precision, multi-band GNSS receivers (like the u-blox ZED-F9P, Septentrio mosaic-X5, etc.).

Please be aware that while this antenna will work with a simple L1-only receiver, it will not turn a $20 receiver into a $200 RTK-capable one. To get the full benefit, you must pair it with a receiver capable of L1/L2 or L1/L2/L5 reception.

For motorcar applications, please see the u-blox ANN-MB-00 GNSS antenna. For weight-sensitive applications (like RTK drones), check out our Helical GNSS Antenna. You can also see our other GPS / GNSS Antennae here.

Connections & Mounting

This is a professional surveying antenna and uses standard pro-level connectors. Please read this carefully to ensure you have the right adapters.

  • RF Connector - TNC Female: This is not an SMA connector. To connect to our receivers, we highly recommend a TNC Male to SMA Cable or a simple adaptor.
  • Mount - 5/8"-11TPI (Threads Per Inch): This is the industry standard for surveying equipment. It is not compatible with camera tripods (which use 1/4"). We recommend a 5/8" to 1/4" Tripod Adaptor.

For permanently fixing this antenna, please refer to our 'How to Build a DIY GNSS Reference Station' tutorial.

Note: GNSS receiver and interface cables are not included with the GNSS Multi-Band L1/L2/L5 Surveying Antenna. These parts will need to be purchased separately.
