SparkFun Thing Plus - ESP32-S3

Offering massive processing power in a compact, user-friendly footprint, the SparkFun ESP32-S3 Thing Plus provides all the essentials you'll need for demanding connected projects. At its heart lies the ESP32 WROOM-S3 MINI module from Espressif™, built around a Dual-Core Xtensa® 32-bit LX7 processor operating at up to 240 MHz, alongside 4MB of Flash memory and 2MB of dynamic PSRAM.

• WiFi & Bluetooth® 5 LE: Support for 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy via a built-in PCB antenna for device-to-device and network communication.
• Advanced Peripherals: Hardware support for native LCD control, an SDIO host, and a TWAI® controller (compatible with ISO 11898-1 CAN Specification 2.0).
• USB Host Support: The ESP32-S3 chip features a dedicated USB Serial/JTAG controller and a Full-Speed USB OTG interface, allowing it to act as a USB host device through the board's single physical USB-C port.

It breaks out 21 of the ESP32-S3's customisable GPIO pins to standard 0.1-inch spaced headers. • Dual Status LEDs: A built-in WS2812 addressable RGB LED and a standard blue STAT LED provide on-the-spot visual status updates.
