Description

Add high-quality, 16-bit stereo audio output to your Teensy project. This DIY kit is built around the PT8211 digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) chip and is the perfect companion for the powerful Teensy Audio Library. It's designed to give your audio-based projects a clean, high-fidelity sound source.

True Stereo, Line-Level Signal

The PT8211 is a dedicated 16-bit stereo DAC that provides a high-quality, line-level audio signal. This is the standard output level required for connecting to external equipment like amplified speakers, a stereo receiver, a mixing board, or a separate amplifier.

Please note that this adaptor provides a line-level signal. It is not a headphone driver and does not have an onboard amplifier. It is not designed to directly drive unpowered speakers or standard headphones.

A Simple DIY Soldering Kit

This kit includes all the essential components you need to build the audio adaptor. Once assembled, the adaptor can be easily connected to your Teensy, allowing you to unlock the full potential of the Teensy Audio Library for your next sound-based project.

Note: Basic soldering is required to assemble the board. A soldering guide for this kit can be found here!
