GNSS boards provide satellite-based positioning and navigation for robotics, automation and embedded projects. They enable autonomous navigation, reliable localisation and heading data, and are used in drones, robots and surveying tools. Available as small breakout boards, pHAT-style add-ons for compact single-board computers, or all-in-one modules, they offer a range of interfaces (UART, USB, I2C) and connectors for easy integration with common computing platforms and control systems.
Capabilities include multi-constellation tracking, robust reception with built-in antennas and LNA, RTK or correction data options for improved accuracy, and features such as tilt compensation when paired with an IMU. Some designs use compact all-band form factors, while others focus on cost-effective dual-band performance. The choice depends on power needs, interface availability and how well the hardware integrates with existing systems.
