The AgXRP Single Pump Enclosure is the mechanical core of your smart farm's automated irrigation system. Designed to securely house a hobby motor, deep groove ball bearings, and latex tubing, this frame allows you to construct a fully functional peristaltic pump! By building the pump from scratch, students gain an understanding of fluid mechanics and mechanical assembly rather than just plugging in a pre-made water pump.
This Pump Enclosure Frame becomes a fully functional peristaltic pump when combined with 3/8in. latex tubing, a simple hobby motor, and ball bearings. While it has been designed to connect to an AgXRP U-Stand Frame, you can use it for whatever purpose you need! These additional parts are sold separately.
We believe that educational materials should be as accessible as possible. While we offer this U-Stand for immediate convenience or for folks who don't have a 3D printer, every AgXRP frame is completely open-source.
