The Zumo platform provides a compact, tracked robot chassis that can be driven by either an Arduino‑compatible or a Raspberry Pi‑compatible controller. Its modular boards integrate dual motor drivers, on‑board sensors such as accelerometers, gyroscopes and compasses, and optional audio output, allowing rapid prototyping of autonomous navigation, line‑following or obstacle‑avoidance projects. Front sensor arrays add infrared detection for precise distance sensing, while interchangeable sprockets let users customise appearance and traction without altering the underlying mechanics.
