ACS72981 Current Sensor Compact Carriers

These compact carriers house Hall‑effect current sensors that provide electrical isolation between the measured conductor and the control circuitry. With a very low sense resistance and a bandwidth of around 250 kHz, they deliver fast, accurate readings for currents ranging from a few tens of amps up to two‑hundred amps. The devices operate from either 3.3 V or 5 V supplies, and many models support bidirectional measurement, making them suitable for monitoring motor drives, battery packs, power‑inverter modules and other high‑current loads in robotics and automation systems.

Because the sensors are small and mount easily on PCBs, they integrate smoothly into tight enclosures and can be combined with micro‑controllers or DSPs for real‑time current feedback, protection, and energy‑efficiency algorithms. Their isolated design helps reduce noise coupling, while the low‑resistance path minimises voltage drop and power loss in the measurement circuit.
