PICAXE Microbot is an excellent introductory robot. Using the free PICAXE program editor you can write programs in the simple BASIC language and command the robot to do various activities. Easy to assemble without soldering and lots of fun.

Overview

The PICAXE microbot system provides an exciting economical introduction to the world of robotics.

The system can be fully customised by the end user, with the capacity to customise via different input sensors and output devices (in addition to the on-board motor/gearbox, LED and piezo outputs).

Microbot use a unique patented 'microbric' connector technology that means the robot can be easily reconfigured with use of just an Allen key. The microbot chassis pack requires no soldering - just assemble the parts using the Allen key supplied, insert the batteries and off you go!

This pack contain the motherboard, 2 motor/gearboxes, bumper module, line follower module, pen holder and servo connector.

The PICAXE microbot can be programmed using any software application that supports the PICAXE hardware, including the free PICAXE Programming Editor and/or Logicator for PIC Micros software.

Requires the AXE027 USB cable for programming. Not included.
