These blue plastic wheels have silicone tires and measure 70 mm (2.75″) in diameter, and they press-fit onto 3mm D shafts, such as those on our micro metal gearmotors. Additionally, this wheel is compatible with several of our universal mounting hubs, which can serve as adapters for motors with different shafts. This product is a pair of wheels.
These plastic wheels with silicone tires are 8 mm (0.3″) wide and 70 mm (2.75″) in diameter, and they are designed to press-fit securely onto 3mm-diameter D shafts, such as those on our micro metal gearmotors and our 120:1 mini plastic gearmotor.
The wheels feature two mounting holes sized for #4 or M3 screws and spaced 12.7 mm (0.5″) apart. This spacing is compatible with several of our universal mounting hubs, which can serve as adapters between these wheels and the shafts on our larger metal gearmotors and stepper motors (see the table at the bottom of this page for information about which wheels are compatible with which universal mounting hubs). The pictures below show these wheels with a universal mounting hub for 4mm shafts installed so it can work with our 20D or 25D metal gearmotors.

The slots in the five spokes fit #2 or M2 screws and allow additional accessories to be mounted to the wheel such as decorations or parts of an encoder system.
The included silicone tires, which feature horizontal treads for improved traction, are also available separately.
