These carbon film resistors are 1/6th Watt, +/- 5% tolerance PTH resistors. They have thicker breadboard friendly leads so they insert well and are best used as pull-up, pull-down resistors. Big bag of 20 so you have some ready when needed.

With PTH (pin through hole) rather than surface mount these resistors are ideal for use in breadboards, perf and prototyping boards. The 10k Ohm value is commonly used for pull-up, pull-down and current limiting in circuits.
