The PICAXE-28X2 shield base has been designed to be compatible with almost all 'shield modules' as used with the Arduino system. The PICAXE-28X2 chip is included with this purchase. This pack also includes a free AXE405 proto shield PCB for experimentation. This is the pre-assembled version, also available as a self assembly kit (AXE401KIT).
The PICAXE Shield Base can be used with any software application that supports the PICAXE hardware, including the free PICAXE Programming Editor and/or Logicator for PIC Micros software.
