This bar provides a great way to bring your older or neglected soldering tips back from the dead. Just make sure the tip is cold, give it a good scrubbing with this bar, and you’re all set! It is important to immediately tin the just-polished tip to avoid oxidation.
Note: Only use this polishing bar when the soldering tip is cool. Do NOT use the bar while the tip is hot!
