The SparkFun Inventor’s Kit (SIK) with an Arduino Uno board is the ideal starter kit for learning about electronics, microcontrollers and programming for ages 10 and up. The on-line downloadable instructions guide you through 16 different circuits and computer programs that use things like motors, lights, buttons, buzzer and more (see below). Example programs and troubleshooting tips with the documentation.

Ideal for anyone without experience so it makes a great gift even if just for yourself. If you are a superstar software developer or electronics wizard this kit will let you learn the other side.

No need to just stop with the 16 example projects. Arduino is the largest open source electronics system in the world. The huge community of people involved means there are an almost infinite number of cool Arduino based projects that this kit will get you on the way to making. The included Arduino Uno board is super useful for any microcontroller project.

This is the international version of the kit that comes in a cardboard box that is smaller for shipping. We also stock the version that has the carry case and SparkFun Redboard.
