Capacitors

Capacitors store and release charge to smooth power rails, suppress transients, form timing networks, and provide short‑term energy for motors and audio circuits. Applications range from decoupling ICs and loading crystals to power supply smoothing, charge pumps and motor driver filtering.

Values span tiny picofarad ceramics for timing and RF, stable X5R/X7R types for bulk decoupling, and electrolytic aluminium for high‑capacitance filtering. Key attributes include capacitance, voltage rating, dielectric stability, equivalent series resistance, tolerance, temperature endurance, and package type. Options include breadboard‑friendly leaded parts, compact SMD sizes, radial and low‑profile electrolytics, and mixed value kits for prototyping and production.
