Stepper Motors

Stepper motors provide precise, repeatable open‑loop position control for printers, CNC stages, robotics and linear actuators. They excel where defined incremental motion, holding torque and predictable step resolution are more important than continuous high‑speed torque. Integrated lead screws convert rotary motion to accurate linear travel for simple actuators.

Sizes and electrical characteristics vary widely. Typical attributes include frame size and mounting pattern, step angle, holding torque, current and voltage ratings, bipolar or unipolar winding options, shaft form factor and low‑profile pancake variants. Performance, driver compatibility, heat dissipation and mechanical robustness determine suitability for different precision, torque and space requirements.
