Dagu Multi Chassis Tank

An aluminium frame with strong wheels and tracks make this Multi Chassis Tank from Dagu Electronics a great base for a tracked robot. There are plenty of mounting holes in the chassis to add your components like a pan & tilt bracket and other sensors.

Note: the rear wheels that go on the motors can be a bit tricky to assemble. We have pre-pressed one pair of wheels in each kit using a mechanical press to make them easier to assemble to the motors. Please check the kit contents for the correct pair of wheels to use marked with a sticker.

Assembly of the wheels

It can be a bit tricky to get the wheels and bearing in place. This video from Dagu shows the best way to get them on.
1) Put the shoulder bearing in place. Make sure it is horizontal and then squash in with the hexagon side of a wheel.
2) Apply a bit of lubricant like Vaseline to the wheel and press on.
