Description

Like the Makey Makey, the PicoBoard is grounded in work from MIT Media Lab. It uses the Scratch Programming Language that has been designed especially for education and schools. It is engaging and fun to play / learn. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Sensors like light sensors, sound sensors and switches are on the board and the included alligator clip cables can be used to hook up other things to measure resistance as inputs. Programs are then written in the visual  Scratch software to take input from the board and make fun things happen.

Kit Includes:

  • 1x PicoBoard
  • 4x Tall Silicone Bumpers
  • 4x 2.5mm Audio Cable to Dual Alligator Clip

The board also needs a micro-b cable that is not included. This is the size for most mobile phones so you may have one already.
