This small ball caster uses a 3/8" (9.5mm) diameter metal ball. The height of the assembled kit ranges from 0.4" to 0.6" (10.1mm to 15.2mm). The caster provides a good 'third point' for a differential drive robot.  This ball caster kit includes a black ABS housing, a 3/8" diameter metal ball, two spacers (1/16" , (1.6mm) and 1/8" (3.2mm) thick), and two #2 screw sets.
The total height of this ball caster is 0.4" (10.2mm) with no spacers. You can also adjust the height by adding the spacers up to 0.6" (15.2mm). The ball caster can be mounted to a chassis by the two screw sets included in the kit. The distance between the two screw holes is 0.53" (13.5mm).
