We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information provided to Robot Gear will be used in accordance with this policy.

What information is collected?

Robot Gear sells goods on-line. When you buy goods we collect your address and contact details so we can send packages to your address and contact you should there be an issue with your order. All data is collected over an industry standard secure encrypted internet connection (SSL). We do not store credit card details in any way. Instead we use PayPal as our trusted payment processor to handle these details using their world leading technology with all information passed only through secure 128-bit or better encrypted connections.

What is done with the information?

Robot Gear maintains a history of billing address, shipping address, order details and contact details for the purpose of dispatching orders and resolving order isues. We do not store your credit card details.

NO information of any kind, including billing information, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or purchasing information, that is through use of Robot Gear facilities will be voluntarily shared with any third party without explicit consent from the user or unless ordered by applicable state and federal laws.

When will I be contacted?

We will only contact you when:

  • There is an issue with an order you have placed
  • You have asked us to respond to an inquiry by email, phone or post
  • You have requested to be sent a regular newsletter or update

We will not send you unsolicited spam emails! We don't like spam either.

How is my information protected?

The Robot Gear website uses industry standard protocols to protect all information obtained including but not limited to SSL encryption (secure socket layers) and firewalls. Additionally, as stated earlier, all credit card details are passed between your browser and our payment processor PayPal exclusively through SSL encrypted channels. We do not process your credit card number on our servers.

Why and how are cookies used?

A cookie is a small piece of data sent to your web browser by a server and stored on your hard drive. Many websites leave a cookie on your machine in order to identify you should you return. Cookies can not read any data from your hard drive other than what is already included in the cookie. Cookies can not damage your system. The Robot Gear website stores a cookie on your computer so that you may log  in and communicate securely.
